Function Terms and Conditions

- Bookings are at the discretion of Abbey Hill Golf Centre, whose decision shall be final in all matters concerning the booking. Bookings will not be confirmed until an application has been received on the prescribed form and the specified security deposit paid.

- A full specified payment shall be paid not less than 21 days prior to your event. Failure to do so may result in loss of reservation and cancellation charges applying in clause 4 below.

- Should additional cleaning be necessary or damage/loss occur the Hirer shall pay to Abbey Hill Golf Centre the amount requested to make good or remedy any such expenses or loss/damage.

Cancellations.

Should the booking be cancelled more than 60 days prior to the date of the event, the Hirer shall forfeit the security deposit.

Should the booking be cancelled more than 21 days and less the 60 days prior to the event, the Hirer shall forfeit the security deposit and be charged 50% of the estimated cost of the event.

Should the booking be cancelled 21 or fewer days prior to the event, the full account will be payable by the Hirer. Any postponement shall be deemed a cancellation.

- All prices/charges are includes of VAT unless specified. If the rate of VAT increases Abbey Hill reserves the right to change prices accordingly.

- The Hirer is responsible for the actions and their consequences (is any) of all their guests, employees and sub-contractors.

- No alcoholic liquor, non-alcoholic drink or food may be brought onto the premises without prior consent of Abbey Hill. This arrangement may incur a charge.

- The finishing time stated shall be the time when the function room shall be cleared and the Hirers guests have vacated the complex, not when the function ceases.

- No bolts, nails, screws, drawing pins, sellotape shall be fixed to any part of the premises, nor shall any placards, banners or smaller articles be fixed either internally or externally without prior written consent of Abbey Hill.

- No inflammable, dangerous or offensive article, nor any animal (other than registered guide dogs) shall be bought onto the premises without the prior written consent of Abbey Hill.

- No person under the age of 18 shall be permitted to purchase or consume intoxicating drinks.

- Abbey Hill Golf Centre reserve the right to conclude any function which, in its opinion, is unsuitable or not properly conducted and in such cases, no part of the payment will be returnable whatsoever.

- Abbey Hill Golf Centre shall not be liable whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for any personal, indirect, inconsequential or economic losses howsoever arising, including those arising from services or products supplied by third parties.

- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the Laws of England.

- All arrangements regarding the Hirer’s requirements shall be confirmed to Abbey Hill Golf Centre not less that 7 days prior to the date of the event.

- Abbey Hill Golf Centre reserve the right to change menu content without prior notice.

- Interest on overdue accounts shall accrue from the date when the payment becomes overdue, from day to day, until the date of payment at a rate of 4% above Barclays Bank plc’s base rate.
