Milton Keynes Golf Club golfers have dominated national competitions this year with two champions.  The club based at Abbey Hill Golf Centre, boasts the National Association of Public Golf Courses (NAPGC) ladies and senior ladies champions in the form of Norie Lloyd and Janet Brennan.

Norie, who hit the headlines last year after winning the NAPGC's JHB shield despite being six months pregnant, claimed her second title when winning the Ladies Championship of England at Abbotsley in Cambridgeshire.

Janet made the most of home advantage when she won the Ladies Senior Championship of England at Abbey Hill, winning a tense final by just a single Stableford point.
